Canva for Authors

Canva for authors in real time (watch video below).

I’ll be sharing another author tool which I find indispensable for my author business and that’s Canva.

I use Canva just about every day. In the video below, I show you how I use Canva for authors to easily and quickly create great-looking graphic images for my website and social media posts.

In the real life example, you’ll see me using Canva to create a graphic for my podcast (Meet the Thriller) website. I created all the images and banners on that website with Canva.

Canva is easy to learn, so don’t let it intimidate you. If you can use a mouse, you can use Canva to create beautiful graphics that you’ll need for your website, social media, ads, and all the other marketing campaigns you’ll need on the business side of being an author.

Remove Background

Another free tool I used in the above video was Remove Background. This is perfect to remove a white background and create an image with a transparent background. You can do this right in Canva with a paid account. But since I only have a free Canva account, I used another website, Remove.bg which is slick, easy to use, and free!

Other Canva Uses

I’ve also used Canva to create mock-up book covers that I can send to my desginer as we work on the concept. I’ve also used it to create maps that I’m planning to use in my upcoming new crime thriller series. There is no limit on how you can use Canva as an author.

I'm a full-time Internet marketer and infopreneur and an aspiring fiction writer. Blogging about my fiction writing at Fictive Universe.
